MIA Technologies is an Indiana leader in the controls and automation industry. Artisan had the opportunity at the end of ’06 to work with them on the installation of control wiring for the new Toyota line at the Lafayette Indiana plant.
Located on 5th Street (next to the Knickerbocker Saloon) in the Historic Lahr building – we provided full design build services as well as all the associated electrical contracting for this unique commercial fit-out.
3200sq ft sports bar with full commercial kitchen, located on 350 South. We provided the electrical project management and worked with our partners at Action Electric to complete all phases of the electrical contracting from site work to final finish.
The Historic Lahr Properties The multi-floor Lahr building(s) occupy almost a full city block of residential occupancies, retail, and commercial space in the heart of downtown Lafayette’s history district. We provide continuing 24hour maintenance, voice, data, and audio service for the Lahr properties and many of the commercial and retail tenets.
Life Long Fitness A personal training studio located in Mar Jean Village, Lafayette – we provided the full electrical contracting services for the build out, including the voice, data, audio portions of the project; and continued electrical maintenance support.
This was one of our favorite projects this year. We had the opportunity to help with the design, product selection, and layout of the lighting restoration for this 100 year building – formally the Bank of Linden. Once the full plan was completed we removed all the existing lighting and put in modern cable hung architectural indirect office lights that integrated with the feel and style of the building.
Mithoefer Properties Full 24hour emergency service, property maintenance, and electrical contracting for mulit-occupiancy commercial buildings located thru out the Greater Lafayette Area: These properties including Mar Jean Village, The Suites at Executive Drive (behind Lowes, across from the Caterpillar plant), Lafayette Crossing (behind Cracker Barrel), and many other commercial occupancy locations.
Located on the circle in the Highland Park Historic Neighborhood, we provided the electrical wiring updates to this house during its restoration. This photo is the only one currently in the portfolio.
Turn of the century home located on Historic 5th Street in downtown Fowler, IN. We did a full service upgrade to 200 amps, partial re-wire, removed the knob and tube wiring, and added a lot of new circuits to update this soon to be restored historic home.
2800sq ft outpatient kidney dialysis clinic. We provided the electrical design build services as well as the full electrical build out for this health care facility.
The Wood-Voglund Home This one is ours. A 1921 Bungalow located in the ‘North End’ of the Saint Lawrence Historical Neighborhood. We did a complete re-hab on this house, including a full rewire, service upgrade, and new light fixtures. We feel that this project is a great example of what you can do with the right fixtures and lighting in an older home.
Purdue Research Foundation (PRF): We provide 24hour service and continued electrical, voice, and data support for buildings located on the PRF West Lafayette campus. Griffin Analytical Tech: Located in the heart of the Purdue Research Park, we provide Griffin with continued electrical maintenance and support for new systems and growth expansions. Endocyte Pharmaceutical Labs: Located in the PTC build in the Purdue research Park, we provide continued electrical maintenance, equipment hook-ups, audio and video services, and support for new systems. Purdue Department of Physical Pharmacy: We provide 24 hour service and lab maintenance for the PDPP, as well as voice, data, and critical systems maintenance. The Jim Korty House: Located on the upper portion of historic 9th Street, we did a full re-wire and update to this prized Lafayette landmark. Perhaps you know of this house – it is the Mediterranean styled stone ranch across from Highland Park with the multi-colored front porch ballesters. Peppermill Village Apartments and Town homes: We provide 24hour emergency service for this well established West Side multi-building apartment community. The MCL Restaurant: A long time West Lafayette staple, we provide 24hour service and electrical maintenance for this large commercial kitchen and family dining establishment. Bistro 501: One of the corner stone fine dining restaurants in the downtown area. We provide 24hour service and maintenance to this one of a kind French bistro. The Dela Home: Full rewire, service upgrade, and audio and voice updates to this unique 1920’s bungalow house located in the upper 9th street area. The Mitchell Agency (Linden Branch): This was one of our favorite projects this year. We had the opportunity to help with the design, product selection, and layout of the lighting restoration for this 100 year building – formally the Bank of Linden. The Catlin Home: Another specialty project and a real challenge! The Catlin Home is one of those cool “hanging off the hillside” houses that you see in the woods when traveling West up 52 hill just after crossing the river. With a very special 60’s era design style and lay-out, it was typical at the time to not use any overhead lighting in the home. We did a non-destructive retro-fit of 25 recessed can lights thru out the home, including some very custom installs of small cans in the wood beams of the library. The Ernessie Farm Stead: Located by Ross Hills Park, this one was a complete rehab. You name it and we had to replace it! This home has been in the Ernisse family for well over 100 years, and presented all the challenges of homes typical of the time period. It can be a real test of skill and patients to rewire these types of homes – but such a reward to see them restored and livable again. The Knickerbocker Saloon: We provide ongoing electrical maintenance and service to this historic night spot, which boost the title of “Indian’s Oldest Bar” – which is in fact true. THREEH Media: Continued electrical maintenance and support for this tech based Media Empire, located on Historic Main Street in Downtown Lafayette.
